I Heart Anything Mini

November 30th, 2006 @ 12:25 pm by Mrs. Apple

Here is a cute wedding favor idea - miniature liquor favors! I’ve been to quite a few weddings that incorporated this into their favors.

You can just go to your local liquor store and ask for “mini liquor bottles” but they usually have them displayed somewhere in there store. They’re super cute and quick wedding favors that don’t require a lot of time to put together. I’ve seen some that are wrapped in little sachet bags tied with a ribbon tied or with just a plain ribbon.

They’re inexpensive and run on average about $1.00/favor - depending on which bottle you purchase. You could also pick colors that match your wedding color scheme.

I like the personalized bride and groom feature on the champagne bottle below.

Check with your venue to see if they allow these before you purchase them. For some reason, my venue does not.

I wasn’t planning on using them myself, but I was a little puzzled why they didn’t allow them. Then I realized there are probably liquor/liability laws to consider and the venue loses money if your guests already get alcohol as a favor as opposed to buying from the bar.

We were thinking of having mini bourbon bottles for our Kentucky wedding, I’m hoping they’ll go on sale around the holidays.

Yay! Mini things ROCK! I’ll say it…I’m a sucker for things in sample sizes…I don’t know why…but I am. :)

I love these! My wedding is a long way off, but, the venue allows you to bring your own caterer… we were planning a DIY bar, but these will save people a trip, or give them something to bring home from the venue that is actually useful!

I love mini’s too. Miss Strawberry posted not long ago about mini appetizers (burgers, grilled cheese and ham, etc.). Mini wedding cakes! I just love it all because it’s so darn cute!

And mini alcohol, of course. :-)
