Mean Website

November 30th, 2006 @ 2:50 pm by Mrs. Blueberry

Ihateweddings.com is so mean…just reading some of the horrible things that people were saying made me cry.

I can understand not being all *that* excited about someone’s wedding, and I even agree with some things they are saying on the site, but they just went waaay over the top :(.

we shouldn’t even put the link on here… it just gives their site unnecessary hits!!!

Who are those people?!

haha…the site is hilarious…everyone on the site is so bitter…it sounds like these people will never be planning weddings of their own…sad bunch…

I thought it was kinda funny…cuz I mean, some people do take it WAY over the top. I plan on having a small budget, and a lot of the stuff they were ragging on, I don’t even plan on incorporating or expecting. I guess it’s just me, but I can see where they’re coming from on some things.

I think this should keep wedding planning in perspective- take a step back & take a realistic view of how other ppl will view your big day.

Um…you cried? For real?

Methinks you should be schooled in the fine art of sarcasm, sweetie….

I thought it was great! Just know there are other sides to the coin! Keep it all in perspective!

Hysterical! And this comes from someone who had a wedding. You lose perspective when it’s your own, but weddings nowadays are so out of control that I’m glad someone is telling the truth!

Tom From IHateWeddings.com says:

I’d be sad if I made anyone cry. The site should be a catty reminder for all of you planning weddings. The bottom line is the whole point of the wedding isn’t the invitations, the ice sculptures and number of pieces in the band . . . it’s the fact that two people are commiting to each other/

Here is a short film based on some of Ihateweddings.com’s humor. I’d love to know your thoughts!

Thanks again for the links and both the positive and negative feedback!
