I apologize for not posting any weekend knottie bios lately. I’ve been meaning to post this one for a while. Artsyvixen and I went to dancing together during high school. We found each other again on the knot and realized we were getting married a month apart from each other at the same cathedral. She and I started emailing each other constantly during our wedding planning. We also had similar florist dramas and ended up choosing the same florist the second go-round. She invited me to her beautiful wedding and I wanted to share her bio with you.

I believe the dress is Allure Bridals, part of the Couture line, style #8373. I looked into that dress and it looks similar to her dress.

–The breathe stone was given to me by my sister. They sell them at Hallmark, or they did.

I have a question! Was the dress really, really heavy? I went for a try on and I was having a “whoa” moment when I had it on. You looked lovely - I ordered it in ivory/pearl!
Sharon, I don’t think it was any heavier than any others I tried on. It was suprisingly easy to move around in. It is probably a little heavier than an all silk dress or something but I think it is worth it!
I am so glad to find a fellow bride that is wearing this dress. Throughout all of my planning I never found anyone else who had it. I got a ton of compliments on it.

I just bought this dress for our wedding in October of 07!!! What kind of flowers did you match with this and what color did you do for the bridesmaids dresses? I am having trouble coordinating with the ivory/rose shade I picked!
Lovely dress! I wore the same one, but swapped out the sash for a thicker one (in chocolate brown, the color my bridesmaids wore).
This is the dress I love to, no matter how many I found, I kept coming back to this one. Did you buy it at a store or online? Because I can’t decide, it’s about a $500 price difference (not including alterations) Would love some help deciding!

I bought mine at a store..it came in several months early…and by just asking the bridal salon for a discount they gave me 20% off…it is worth a try!
