You’ve Got Mail!

December 1st, 2006 @ 4:30 pm by Mrs. Strawberry

For yet another twist on the traditional guest book, why not use vintage post cards? Guest can sign their well wishes on post cards that have a special significance to you and your new hubby.

They can be postcards of where you are going to be honeymooning, places you have lived or traveled, or even as simple as pretty prints. I’ve collected some pretty sweet cards of the university where Mr. Strawberry and I attended and met, the church where we are to be married, and even one of Rockford, Illinois, where Mr. Strawberry frequents on business. :)

My mom is going to mail one to us every day–it will be quite the treat to get the mail everyday! Eventually, I’ll probably mount them and hang it on the wall. :)

I love this idea! Miss Strawberry I have a question though. What are you going to do with the postcards after? I was thinking I could scrapbook them but then you wouldnt be able to read the guest messages…unless they sign on the front of the postcard? THoughts???
