There’s just no better place to get ready!

My dear mom did my updo.. it turned out beautifully! She was so proud of herself- it was really cute.

Tight dress = funny faces

Having a good laugh at, I mean, with my sisters

I tied ribbons around my shoes and ankles.. They added a lot of support and saved my clumsy self from lots of discomfort and embarassing moments!

Hiding my straps with a nifty little device my seamstress added

All ready! Now it’s just waiting… breathe in.. breathe out!

Wow! I love the ribbon idea. I may use that as my something blue! The zip tie idea I had wasn’t going to turn out as pretty as the ribbon and will accomplish the same thing. You look beautiful!

the ribbon on your shoes is quite the clever tip! btw, what was your thoughts on the rockhouse? i saw they had pretty affordable off-season rates and wanted to look into a mini vacay for me and the bf. thanks!
