Super exciting! We have been waiting forever to get a new camera and yesterday we went and got this one - the Canon Powershot S2 IS.
I did a ton of research to make sure we were getting everything that we wanted. Mr. Raspberry thought it was quite amusing that I could recite all of the specifics of the camera and has since been calling me a techie nerd. So, since we have a great new camera, I will be doing tons of posts on do-it-yourself projects as I can now take great close ups!

I have a similar model and it is a good camera -I’ve just found it a bit bulky for travel so I’m in the market for a smaller camera. Canon makes a great product - enjoy!
i’ve been in the market for a dslr forever. i still can’t decide between the nikon and the canon tho - they’re both great!
I just got the Nikon D80 from Mr Apple for christmas this year (early christmas present) and I can’t wait to take some pretty pretty pictures! I currently have a Canon digital and it works great too!
I also have this camera and I LOVE it. Nice pick 
FI and I are going to register for one, but like VT I think we might get a slim one for quick nights out and what not. I like Canon’s, and we especially like the kind they have where the screen can pop out/be turned around.
