Venue Decor

Our restaurant coordinator at Marie Gabrielle offers their brides and prospective brides the option to view weddings held at their location. Just contact Lisa Yarbro, the restaurant coordinator, and she will be able to send you a list of dates and times of upcoming weddings during that month. I highly recommend you stop by and take a look at the venue just so you have a better feel as to Marie Gabrielle’s unusual resaturant layout and very chic restaurant decor. You are allowed to take pictures and view the reception, but you’re not allowed to walk into the gardens while they’re having there wedding ceremony - duh! You have about 15 minutes to view the reception room and watch the ceremony taking place in the gardens. It’s kind of cool - you’re a guest but not really a guest.

Today, there was a winter wedding scheduled at 5pm and I was instructed to show up at 4:15pm. When I arrived the tables were already done - red rose floral centerpeice, coffee colored napkins, iron plate chargers, and creme colored linens. The waitstaff was finishing up lighting all of the 200 candles the restaurant offers for their brides!

This year I’ve visited three Marie Gabrielle weddings and they all looked completely different. The first one had beautiful tall pink/green colored centerpeices. The second one had loads of pink - every shade of pink you can think of. They incorporated them into their table runners, floral centerpeices, and table linens and even bridal cake. And the third one was more simple with a red and brown color scheme incorporating berries and branches. I didn’t bring my camera to the first wedding but here are some photos of the second and third wedding I visited this year.

Marie Gabrielle had a beautiful and ginormous Christmas tree lit in the gardens. You can see it in picture 3 behind the glass windows.

I took a picture of the yummy groom’s chocolate cake.

I love the brown flower pots they used - definitely more unique than glass vases.

The waitstaff lighting the tiki torches (a beautiful touch at night).

Adorable wedding favors - Ferrero Rocher chocolates wrapped in creme colored toile and tied with a little red ribbon! These are great because they’re inexpensive and also add a yummy touch to the end of the night for your guests!

Have you told your restaurant coordinator or wedding planner that you would like to view the reception hall right before your guests arrive? Or do you want to be surprised?

wow that’s pretty cool that they let you see actual weddings! i would have loved to have done that too. we actually did see a wedding being set up when we stopped by the venue for some reason.

if i had had the time, i would have wanted to help set up! i don’t need to be surprised as long as everything is perfect. :D
