Open Question: Quick Help

December 6th, 2006 @ 4:15 pm by Open Question

I am hosting a winter event on December 21st and LOVE the snowflake wine bottle stoppers that everyone is so in love with!!!

I’m on waiting lists in 2 places and have called probably 6 or 7 different places several times but they’re sold out everywhere. Is there anyone out there who has already purchased them and would like to resell them? I am willing to pay a high price for them!!!!

Thanks!

Sonja

Hi WeddingBee!

My sister is having a very, very intimate civil wedding ceremony in 2 days (she’s having her “big” wedding next year) and I’d like to make her pseudo-wedding bouquet. So because its the holidays and because I am also a bride-to-be, I am on a strict budget! I was thinking I could use fake flowers (she could use it in her wedding rehearsal next year!) or something similar. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated! If I do the fake flower bouquet… how do I make it?

Thanks a bunch!

- Jen A.

I am in the process of making 80 tissue paper flowers from MarthaStewart.com. I chose tissue paper in colors i liked, measured, cut, and assembled. I only made one kind, since I’m using them in my centerpieces as single flowers in vases, but you could try all the kinds in the instructions. For about $20 I have the supplies to make about 200 flowers. Miss Blueberry is also in the process of making paper flowers, but hers are different than mine. Check my website for photos! Don’t mind the complaining about how many I have left to make. :-)
