It’s the surprise of the century! After all my confusion and internal debate, I finally ordered the bridesmaid dresses! Voila (oo-la-la!):

Although I think this eggplant color is phenomenal, I got it in a blue-ish seagreen. I think it’s going to be floaty and pretty. It took me forever (I mean WAY too long) to order these suckers because a) I kept changing my mind about colors and styles and b) figuring out the sizes for the girls without them being here (and the crappy size chart that makes no sense) was very frustrating and hard.

I first saw the dresses at Kleinfeld’s Bridal Loft in NYC. For those of you that don’t know, the building that held the Loft was sold and it is currently no more. I’m sure that’s a huge pain for some brides (sorry those of you out there), but really the dresses were overpriced there anyway. I ordered them from Net Bride. The dresses were a whopping 40% (yes, you heard me, forty percent!) cheaper at NetBride than Kleinfeld. So far, they have been super nice and very patient with my zillions of questions.

I don’t have the dresses in my hand yet, so everyone cross your fingers or knock on wood to make sure they arrive here safe and sound and fit everyone (at least don’t let them be too small! I know some will be too big…).

In a way, it’s a relief to have this done. It means my colors are set in stone and there is no turning back. Time to run with it!
