Out with the old:

And in with the new (and the first things I’ve had personalized with my new name. So exciting!!):

Since I didn’t want to take any chances and depend on subtle hints to Mr. Daisy, I bought myself my own holiday gift this year, to kick off the season. Because really, there’s nothing I wanted more than my 2007 Planner. (Yes, I am obsessed with keeping a tangible record of my (oh-so-fascinating) life). Palm Pilots? Treos? Blackberries? Bah to all that newfangled technology! I am all about pens and paper. So what if my day book gives me a bad back from its weight… totally worth it!

The Weekly Journal and New York Pocket Diary are both from Graphic Image New York, where they can personalize everything. (Love it!) I actually thought about giving these as bridesmaids’ gifts, but acknowledge the fact that not everyone is as keen on written records as I. still though, if you have a bridal party that leans toward the Luddite eschews scheduling technology (like I do!) then I think this would rule. They have traditional colors plus ones that are superfun:
