I watch the Food channel. I can’t cook a lick–but I watch it nonetheless. I especially love the shows that incorporate food and some sort of competition. I live for Iron Chef’s secret ingredient. My mouth waters during barbecue challenges. But most of all, I love the cooking competitions that deal with wedding cakes. That’s where I first learned about Mike’s Amazing Cakes, located right here in Washington. His cakes really are AMAZING! He can do your basic “pretty” cake, but he specializes in the unusual. Like a sand castle cake for a beach wedding or a Nut Cracker for a winter wedding! Or even a chapstick cake for Mr. Strawberry!
