Actually, I am afraid to say that I find most wedding cake rather vulgar. Especially that blue thing. Is that really food? Did someone touch all that stuff with their hands to get it like that? Do wedding guests want to eat it?

I will agree it is art, but is it food that has taken on too much? I drool over the stations someone had on here, but the cakes get a little weird. I read somewhere that it is the item guests care about the least. “Gum paste” remains a strange concept for me. My idea of cake is a big trifle.

I tasted many cakes in my hunt. I dream of cake was the best tasting cake I have ever had. Although it is art she really believes that the way the cake tastes is the most important part.

Yes, her cake is super super delish. I like how her “arts” don’t look like every cake out there :-). I’m assuming the color ones such as the blue cake are made w/food coloring, not that weird. And I’m sure her cake is “clean”, no dirty hands touching hee hee.

They look so pretty - I would LOVE to have a slice of any of those cakes!

All food is touched at one point or another unless you plan on planting your own seeds, growing your own food, and gathering and preparing it all by yourself!

Of course they’re going to wash their hands and keep up with health standards - you can’t stay in business if you dont!
