About Mrs. Strawberry

I think I need help. Serious professional help. I am consumed by wedding planning. I eat it. I drink it. I sleep it. Is it possible to have selective OCD? I think it is. My ongoing obsession is packaging. It must be cute. It must be relatively cheap. It must be different. And it must fit my mini cupcake in it!!! Here’s what I’m going for.

Maybe a cute takeout box?

Or a simple bag with a button like Kat&Ben? I ordered buttons with our caricature on it–so this would work.

I found these mini paint cans at the Container Store that I can cover with, what else? Pink and brown paper. And a bird sticker. And probably a ribbon. (I have to stop. Stop me. Please.)

To be honest, I think I might use all three to denote the different flavored cupcakes. Seriously…I don’t know what’s wrong with me. :)

as someone equally obsessed with packaging…if you had all three i’d want all three! i think you should do the first or second one and the ribbon color could denote the flavor. since you have the buttons i’d go with the second one.

You have too much creative energy for your own good. Please share.

ps. I would go with the white bags with the buttons. I like the idea of not knowing what’s inside (and a cupcake would not be a let down). Plus the buttons are adorable.

You’re fine hun- just don’t get burned out on wedding. That’s no fun. But if you write about it, it’s good that’s its an addiction :)

PS- I don’t know what the general theme of the wedding is (I’m new to the site), but if it’s modern I’d go with the tin. Classic? I’d go with the 2nd bag. But that’s me!

I’m totally the same. I love great packaging! If these are sitting on the dining tables you may want to consider how it looks with the rest of the room and the centerpieces, etc. :)

I’ve been doing wedding work so much, I’m afraid I’m going to get fired. That would not be good for our wedding budget. It seems each time I finish a project, I think of another one. Ugh!

I agree with katielynn on the white bags. I would be afraid someone would shake the paint can, thinking it had candy inside, and the cupcake would be ruined.
