Weddingbee Traffic

December 14th, 2006 @ 11:25 am by Mrs. Bee

Mrs. Ant asked how long I thought it took brides to stumble onto weddingbee. I honestly have no idea, but I thought I’d share some stats about exactly where our traffic comes from.

These are our Visits by Source according to Google Analytics:

stats.JPG

The majority of users directly type in www.weddingbee.com, but the second largest source of traffic is Google. Fascinating stuff? :P

How long did it take you to stumble upon weddingbee after you got engaged?

I only found it at the end of my engagement through theknot. Of course…I’m still addicted now even after I’m married.

hmm.. so a Google program is telling you that Google is your #2 source of hits?.. hmmm… (gosh, i am always so cynical about these things!) definitely interesting, tho. I am always curious about the reader demographics.

I found this site long before i was engaged the same way that mik found it. I was a fan of koreancooking and weddingbee (when it was a xanga site!). I too wanted to be a member of weddingbee and applied but i don’t know what happened since. I was told to keep blogging and i have! Haha. I guess i got rejected.

Through a Xanga ad, about 6 months after I got engaged (but about 1 month after I actively started planning the wedding).

I’m read the original Xanga Weddingbee blog long before I got engaged. But I according to the Google program, I may fall into the Yahoo category since I use the search engine to look for “weddingbee” and click on the search results.

I found from theknot when I was trying to plan a trip to Puerto Rico and I forget which bee had a review. It was about 2 months before I got engaged. I get the google thing because a lot of times when I google vendors I’ve read about on weddingbee - this site is always one of the hits.

I can’t even remember how I found WeddingBee (maybe a link through Google doing random wedding searches), but it has definitely been the best find since I got engaged! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your site and read it religiously. I think I started looking at it just a few weeks after I got engaged. My MOH kids me about how much time I spend on the site, but I keep telling her she will love it as much as I do when she gets engaged. :)
