About Mrs. Plum

These would be super cute for a wintery-themed wedding or as regular Christmas tree ornaments!

3-D snowflakes! I made some of these yesterday to decorate the office. People were complaining that we weren’t “festive” enough :P.

It’s really easy, but very time consuming! You can go to here to learn how to make them!

I love the paper snowflakes!!!

I’m wondering if I could make those into flowers for my wedding, to hang from the ceiling at our reception…

OK, we did the beaded ornaments for our tree one year, buying the beads and wire ourselves.

It’s not just time consuming–it’s also blinding. But the results are beautiful. My father called it our “sweatshop” because we were all huddled over the beads with our needlenose pliers.

I just made a paper snowflake with that website’s instructions! It was really simple, and it didn’t take super long. A word from hindsight–if you use regular computer paper and just cut the ends off to make squares, you will make GIGANTIC snowflakes. Or at least, mine turned out much bigger than I expected! I want to make some to use as gift toppers, and I definitely need to make the paper smaller first!

LOL - Jenna - I did the same thing you did when I made my first snowflake! It was HUGEEEE it was about 2 ft by 2ft! Afterwards, I cut up 1 piece of 8.5 x 11 cardstock into 4 squares and it was much more manageable, albeit it was still rather large. :)
