Changing Hairstyles

December 18th, 2006 @ 4:53 pm by Mrs. Emerald

I’m not really an updo kinda girl - it makes my face look too wide!! I want something like this:

But for the traditional Chinese tea ceremony, I think I might have to wear my hair up with the Chinese red dress so maybe something like this:

Then I could pull it down afterwards and just have it down.

Are you planning on changing your hairstyle sometime during the wedding and will you have a stylist do it for you?

I think I will wear mine down during the ceremony and then at some point put it up during the reception. We will see how the curls last.

I wore my hair half up/half down during the ceremony, but had to put it up for the traditional korean ceremony. i just pinned it up in a loose bun and then took it down for the reception. maybe you can have your hairdresser show different options when you go for your trial. ;)

like Mrs. Bee I did the same thing. For my kwa, I just pinned up the rest of my hair w/ some bobby pins.

I am planning on doing down for the ceremony and up for the reception (although indoors and with AC, the hair won’t look so hot after dancing all night!).

My knot bio (wsukarebear) has my pics for how I’ll toss it up at the reception (and thank gosh my hairdresser is a close family friend and invitee!). :-)
