About Mrs. Strawberry

My save the dates have finally been printed!

And through no fault of Mariah @ Demarco Designs, I’ve got extras! And when I say extras… I mean 500! What to do with them all!? Mariah made a cute Christmas ornament and a magnet out of the flower. Too cute! I might use some as tags on the cupcake favors. Any of you creative ladies out there have any ideas? Come on, spill it! :)

You could painstakingly cut them out, paste a piece of paper on the other side with your name and wedding date, and use them as favor tags. Or use them as thank you cards, but covering up the save the date part with a piece of paper. It’ll be thank you post cards.

I’ve been using my extras to take notes, like groceries, and as coasters lol.

You could cut them out, run them thru the Xyron and make stickers for whatever you need! They’d look adorable as favor tags or OOT box tags.

Well, a few can go into scrapbooks; you can do some decoupage; make ornaments (as suggested above - thanks for the awesome site, Katie!); use them as bookplates (especially for books you get as wedding presents); make magnets; cut off the bottom (or cover the “save the date” part with stickers that say “just married”) and paste to larger, plain cards to use as thank you notes; laminate them and use them as coasters; use them as covers for handmade blank books or journals; do some origami-type folding; make 3-D folded structures (like 8 pointed stars); cut it into confetti and do stuff with the confetti. Have fun!

That ornament is such a great idea!!! I love it! Unfortunately, I don’t have any fantastic ideas….

But just had to comment! I love the fact that your save the dates are so unique. So much more fun to look at than the typical STDs! :D
