Favors Are On Their Way!

(First part, anyhow)

I ordered about 100 of these adorable little Williams-Sonoma nests to put on top of each place setting. If the guests do not take them home or if I have extra, I’ll sell them after my wedding to anyone who wants them! I have another actual favor for the guests to take home - the teacup candles - that I’m still working on.

Can you believe these nests all made by hand?! Crazy… But really cool for me because I have these cute little things!

Mini Bird’s Nests, Set of 12

Internet/Catalog Only

Celebrating beginnings and new life, our miniature bird’s nests make lovely wedding favors. Each creates a perfect setting for five of our almond dragÆ’©es, which resemble tiny robin’s eggs. The nests are hand-decorated at a family-owned California farm, where artisans use natural angel hair grasses and dried flowers to replicate nature’s handiwork. You can use the nests to embellish individual place settings, or arrange them on a side table for guests to pick up as they leave the celebration. 3 1/2¢¢â€š¬? diam.; 2 1/2¢¢â€š¬? high.

I’m having my wedding in September. I had planned on a bird’s nest favor also more like this one here http://www.weddingthings.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=WeddingThings&Product_Code=SP007

but similar. If you want to sell yours afterwards, please contact me. I won’t be buying my nests until the Spring (I’m in Canada though).

I’m going to have the birdnests at my place setting too, but with 2 handmade buttons instead of almonds(I don’t really like the taste) and maybe a Thank You note. Put me on your list of potential buyers!
