Henry & Michelle Roth Spring 2007

December 20th, 2006 @ 1:41 pm by Mrs. Bee

Designers are starting to release their Spring 2007 Collections in stores, so we’ll be covering a lot of bridesmaid dresses and wedding dresses over the next couple of weeks. The shows all took place in October, and I attended one for the brother and sister team of Henry and Michelle Roth at the Waldorf Astoria during Bridal Market.

I don’t have that many pictures because my camera’s shutterspeed wasn’t fast enough to capture the models as they moved, but this was the final, my favorite and definitely the best piece in the entire collection. The model walked out carrying a maltese.

So sweet and feminine as a spring or summer dress! Love the polka dots!

I visited Henry and Michelle at their Bridal Market suite prior to the show. (I also heard them speak at the Wedding March the previous Saturday.) I always remember (and like ;)) everyone who’s nice in the wedding world - and both Henry and Michelle are an absolute pleasure. Henry is quite the character so he’ll certainly make the dress shopping experience an adventure! :D

i totally just clipped that picture out of the new bride magazine (feb/mar) my dress is similar but with jeweled embroidery instead of the dots. that’s my favorite style of dress. i just need to get me a petticoat… wish i was at the show… lucky you

Funny you post this…

As soon as I saw it on The Knot, I printed the picture out and am having it made custom…a shop called the designers for me and they said that due to a glitch, they’re not making that model of dress because they can’t get enough material for it! The only version of that dress, ever, is the one that model is wearing. Unless things have changed since a month or so ago.

That’s very similar to my dress! Mine is this pattern, but obviously in a white wedding-ish fabric:

Hey everyone

I spoke to Michelle today and she confirmed that she will be making this dress and it is available. Check out her website to find your nearest retailer.
