Weddingbee in 2007

December 21st, 2006 @ 4:07 pm by Mrs. Bee

Hi everyone!

2006 has been an amazing year for weddingbee! It’s hard to believe that it’s already been almost a year since we first launched. We want to extend a huge thanks to all the weddingbee bloggers and readers - you guys are what make weddingbee such an awesome community, and I feel so lucky to be a part of it. :D

We’re gearing up to make 2007 an even better year. We have lots of things in store - new features like wedding wikis, a 1 year weddingbee party tentatively set for February 8th in NYC, and perhaps finally…. weddingbee gear. I’m going to have some weddingbee t-shirts printed to give away at the party, so we can look like some kind of weddingbee gang with them on haha.

We’ve received tons of requests for gear, so I thought maybe it was finally time to start selling some. We’d love to hear your feedback on this - would you buy weddingbee gear? And if so, what type of gear (tshirts, pins, etc.) and what should we put on them (logo, bride, bee, etc.)?

anything with the new bee character on it for sure! its too cute! i’d totally buy a tshirt with the bee on it if the logo was discreet enough or a huge bee on a tote would be really cute too!

I agree with everyone - the new bee and the weddingbee logo on the front of a tee shirt would look cute.

On the back of the tee shirt what about incorporating all of the bloggers icons pyramid style. For example, the founder would be Mrs. Bee; then the first class (the bugs) would be Mrs. Butterfly, Mrs. Ant, Mrs. Grasshopper, and so on. Just a thought…

Oh the cute little bee would be so wonderful!!! Just a simple fitted tee with the bee on the front would be cute too!

Mrs.Bee… I’ve been reading since it was just you blogging!!!!

Congrats on your almost year!

Bee flip flops!! I think the most useful would be weddingbee stationary kinda like post-its/notebooks/”I love this” stickers (for magazine pages)/page markers/folders/etc. with the weddingbee logo. I was a marketing exec. in my past life. I think?!?!

aww, i’ll be in NY in march as well.

something simple and fitted, i think. i’m ever the minimalist. i’m not sure how many male readers we have, but maybe a non-fitted version, too?

other paraphenalia, i’m not sure about…i’ll have to think on that.

what about a binder with the little bee logo - to put all the bride stuff - then that can go in the bee tote?!
