Who’s The Buffest Bride Of All?

December 21st, 2006 @ 10:29 am by Mrs. Pearl

Every bride wants to look fabulously hot on her wedding day. For some, that means a haircut. For others, dental work. And for many, losing weight or toning up.

For the latter group, it can be difficult to get that workout routine started. The gym can be a daunting place for those who don’t often set foot through its doors. Oftentimes, that kind of pressure alone can keep people out of the gym and away from exercise altogether.

I was perusing my voluminous copy of Modern Bride and saw an article on Buff Brides (at the same time there was a TV special on the Fitness Network, coincidentally). Sue Fleming, creator of Buff Brides, is eliminating the excuses from getting in shape for the wedding. She created a Buff Brides DVD for the ladies who can’t bring themselves to the gym that focuses on toning the back, arms, shoulders, abs, and hips.

And for those who are counting every penny for the wedding, the DVD comes in at the low, low price of $14.98.

Go to buffbrides.com to order the DVD and get those perfect bouquet-tossing biceps :)

Miss Pearl,
I actually took up with the trainer for buff brides! if you saw the tv show, one of the trainers, julian, was my trainer! let me tell you, he worked wonders! once our finances are in order, i cant wait to take more sessions with him because he truly was amazing! stay with the program 3 to 5 times a week, and you’ll look wonderful on your wedding day!
good luck!

I recently joined a gym, and it is daunting at first…but after being there for 2 weeks now, it feels very home-y, if that’s possible! lol.

Everyone made me feel VERY welcome.

This coming from someone who’s plus size, and was horrified at the thought of exercising in front of other people! ;)

Trust me, the dvds will get boring after a while. I did them all summer, and now I can barely stand to do them.

I’ve found that being at the gym, I’m more motivated. At home, you can make excuses NOT to do the exercise, but at the gym, you’ll feel like a fool if you don’t do a workout! :D
