Since everyone seems to be blogging about wedding bands today, I thought I’d jump on the bandwagon and write about Mr. Bee’s ring, because it’s pretty unique. We got his wedding band and mine from Wedding Ring Originals here in the city.

This was taken in Barcelona on our honeymoon.

Mr. Bee immediately gravitated to this ring because it’s a mobius - which means there’s no end, no beginning and it continues forever in a circle. I’d like to say that he chose it because of the meaning - it’s called the “Love has no beginning-no end” design - but really it was the geeky concept of the mobius appealed to him.

Our wedding bands don’t match, although they’re both in platinum, but it’s ok because Mr. Bee loves his ring.

I like the emphasis on the edge in mobius3.jpg,
but the geometry looks uncomfortable.
Yaron shaool’s notion of “best” seems unrefined.

I also think the “unending” meaning is common to all closed curves, but that the Moebius band is unique in expressing the marriage union of Ephesians 5:31
