Stamps

December 22nd, 2006 @ 8:23 am by Mrs. Plum

I just bought some new toys last night!

Cavallini Paris and Alphabetique kits (both bought at Anthropologie)

You can buy them online anywhere, but Anthropologie has really great prices.

I searched all over for the bird stamp kits, but alas, they did not have them/were sold out. sad.gif

I was playing around with my new stamps - I loveeeee them! I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They’re very cute, very vintage-looking - and fit perfectly into the whole shabby chic, Parisian bird theme - hahaha yes, that’s my “theme.” silly2.gif

My FI and I were at Anthropologie and I spotted the stamps out of the corner of my eye.

Me: “AHHH! HONEY!! Look! It’s the stamps I wanted to buy!! Quick! Do you see the bird ones?!”
Him: “Umm… okay….”

After looking around the store and asking an associate for help to no avail, I decided to get the Parisian ones. I lifted up the box and saw those CUTE alphabet ones underneath - what luck!

Me: “HONEY!! They sooooo go with our whole wedding theme! I’m going to start a crafty-stuff collection!”
Him: confused1.gif
Me: DUH honey, the whole shabby-chic, vintage-y, Parisian bird theme! GEEZ!

He laughed at me after.

I went on a mission yesterday to find the stamps too, now that finals are over and I have nothing else to do!

I couldn’t find the bird stamps at anthropologie, in fact, they said they’d never seen them before.

I walked over to the barnes & noble next door, where lo and behold, they had the bird stamps! so maybe you could try at your local B&N and see if you get lucky!

I’ve seen the bird stamps at Kate’s Paperie, but, hey, Fred Flare has them online:

I bought mine while back from impressrubberstamps.com (like your link). They are very cute! I can’t believe they have cursive alphabet kit now. I have the block one and they are great for certain look. Now I want the cursives too. Cavallini makes great stuff. Have fun being crafty! :)
