My fiance actually proposed while we were walking our dachshund, Harry. We are making every effort to involve our beloved dog in our wedding planning. Our venue is a dog-friendly hotel so that H can join us for the reception (but only after the tables have been cleared, as he can work a crowd for food like nobody’s business).

When I saw this contest, I realized that it goes both ways for us. We have wedding stuff to put on our pet, but our pet is also on our wedding stuff! Our return postage for our RSVP cards will be custom stamps from www.zazzle.com featuring Harry’s handsome mug, and I made Save the Dates that show our dachshund devotion. (I used my Print Gocco to print silver ink on chocolate postcards from the Paper Source.) H’s wardrobe is growing quickly as our wedding date approaches. My future in-laws got Harry a velvet dinner jacket to wear to the reception, and just in case he does make an appearance at the ceremony we can keep things kosher with his yarmulke that my friends got for him.
