Update: Here’s a national list of salons that offer training night discounts.

Since we did a reader buzz on haircare products yesterday, I thought I’d share this list I came across of top Manhattan salons that offer discounted hair cuts and color on training nights. The participating stylists are usually experienced professionals, but are new to the salon so they have to go through training with senior staff.

These are not your ordinary salons - each one is considered among the city’s best like Bumble & Bumble, Frederic Fekkai, Oscar Blandi and more. With cuts as low as $12 and color as low as $20, these are really amazing deals! All bridal babes could afford to save a buck or two… hundred on their hair.

hey mrs. b…i found a great bio that you might want to use for a post. It shows how to color out only part of a photograph using photoshop.

Be careful getting your hair cut by a trainee, especially if you are nearing your wedding date! I know everyone should have a shot and they are just learning…. but I had a *horrendous* cut at a pretty famous training school, and I had to get it chopped short at a real salon in order to fix the disaster. I’d hate someone to run into that before their wedding!
