Candy Jars

January 2nd, 2007 @ 2:33 pm by Mrs. Strawberry

Mr. Strawberry and I are doing a mini candy buffet on our guest book table, all because I couldn’t decide what to do as favors. I made a compromise with myself to do a small candy buffet of about three different tasty candy treats and mini cupcakes for guests to take home. I’ve been looking for cool decanters for the candy and found them at Pottery Barn of all places! :)

Voluminous Camilla Canisters
Small $54.00
Medium $59.00
Large $69.00

The best part is that they can be used AFTER the wedding. I have a collection of vintage soaps that would fit inside perfectly! Pottery Barn Kids also has these candy jars that just scream cute! They come in pink, green, navy, red and silver to match your wedding colors.

Do you have a Home Goods store near you??? It’s like a Marshall’s but better and for home decorating stuff only. It’s a wonderful place!!!! They have those jars for $29.99. Fi and I were just there on Friday and I was thinking the same thing…pottery barn and candy buffet. And thinking what a great place to buy them. $54+ is alot of money for a jar. The other candy jar you posted, you can find similar ones at Ikea. It just doesn’t have that color lid.

Z Gallerie, Williams Sonoma Home, and a few other home stores also carry apothecary jars, but yes, they are pricey at any of the places I mentioned.

Nope we don’t have a homegoods. And I am seriously devastated because of it. I wanted a bunch of lanterns from there. I seriously feel like I am missing out on an AWWWWWESOME store!!!

Home Goods is the best! My friend bought a slightly damaged Le Creuset pot for $5. I still don’t believe her but she’s not one to lie.

Try TJ Maxx too - similar to Marshalls or Tuesday Morning.
