I finally did it! I bit my lip and went to try on shoes at London Sole, trying not to fall in love with the entire store and walked out with these beauties for my big day.

They’re amazingly comfortable and the ability to adjust the size with the drawstring will help greatly in case my tricky right foot decides to swell up for the occasion. I normally wear a 9.5-10, but my right foot likes to swell up toward an 11 for no particular reason, so I always buy bigger shoes if they’re closed toes.

The gold is just the right brilliant hue and the bottom is nice and slick… all ready to be scuffed up! And due to their holiday sale, I got a pleasant little 10% off along with the cutest pair of Union Jack shoes for only $30!

p.s. if I were a few inches shorter, I would have gotten these Stuart Weitzman shoes in a heartbeat!

Nice! I’m nearly six feet tall myself, and my intended is only two inches taller, so I’ll be wearing flats. I can’t decide if I want something like London Sole ballet slippers, or the lovely Elise from Blue Tux, or the Lilla slingback from Grace. The Grace site says the Lilla has a 2″ heel, but it doesn’t look anywhere near that high to me. I should try it on…

Anyway, good choice! Gold will be so pretty peeping out from your gown.
