I have never been totally obsessed with the wedding cake, like I am with the flowers. I think by the time the cake is cut, most people have had a little to drink and are so busy socializing that they aren’t paying that much attention. I want ours to be gorgeous, but I have not been a bridezilla about finding the perfect one.
On that note, here is the inspiration for our cake!

Very elegant cake, I love how they mixed the flowers for each tier.
I think it’s really pretty too. I wonder if it would look better with white, rather than off-white, fondant. Because the flowers are so cool-toned, I think it looks a teeny bit off with the warmth of the fondant. But no big deal either…
What specific color roses did you use? They are exactly what I want!
