Rasterbator

January 8th, 2007 @ 6:07 pm by Mrs. Bee

The Rasterbator is a cool program that allows you blow up any image into a huge version of its original size. You simply send them an image, they send it back to you as a bunch of PDF documents, and then you piece them together to form one big image. Best of all it’s freeeeeee!

Use it to create a jumbo size poster of you and your FI for your reception like Mrs. Ladybug did.

Create a cool backdrop, like this rasterbation of Times Square, for guests to take pictures in front of.

Or blow up a wedding picture for your apartment after the wedding. I might have something made up as wall art for our apartment. You can get really creative with this! :D

I like it, I like it! I may try this since our bedroom walls are a naked green right now.

As it was my own little studio apartment, I just laminated the sheets and placed on the wall with tape. However, I had a friend who laser printed each of his images on photo paper and mounted them on foam board, and other who framed each one in a cheap clip frame and hung up 20 frames. I thought that wasn’t too smart to do in earthquake country, but it worked. :)
