Wedding Mapper

January 9th, 2007 @ 3:47 pm by Mrs. Bee

Wedding Mapper is a really cool program that lets you create an online google map with markers such as “ceremony,” “reception,” “hotel,” “airport,” even “entertainment” and “restaurants” for your out of town guests. I’ve marked our ceremony location, the hotel, and Times Square below.

You can even upload pictures of each location, as well as addresses, comments, and links to websites which appear when you mouse over each icon. It’s a really useful tool for out of towners to get directions, see everything on a map, and figure out things to do/places to eat.

Question - does this only do maps in the US? I’m guessing it wouldn’t work for St. Thomas?

Wow, this is fantastic. Thanks Wedding Bee for helping to get the word out. And thanks to all the commenters for the feedback (I’ll have to look into allowing people to customize the font).

If anyone has any feedback or any problems at all please feel free to email me at jared@weddingmapper.com.
