Recently, a high school acquaintance of mine got married. She and her husband are both in the military, stationed in Korea. They saved up a little bit of money and sent it home to her “adopted mom,” who pulled together this beautiful wedding. Then the couple flew home, had the wedding, and went back to Korea.
I wasn’t at the wedding, but here are a few photos I procured:
Instead of a guest book, the couple asked each guest to sign an ornament:

The obligatory rings-on-bouquet shot. But notice the bouquet–it was DIY!

I love this photo of the bride’s dress. I don’t know who designed it, but it was gorgeous. And guess what? < $200 on eBay!

Their cake table, with the “JOY” letters in front–I love how it was in keeping with their Christmas theme.

I’m sorry I don’t have more of those coveted detail shots to share, but I think this offers a taste of what the wedding was like.
Oh yeah, and guess how much the whole shebang cost? $3,000. Wow!
It just goes to show, you don’t have to drop $30K to have a beautiful wedding ![]()
