Back in the day (that would be when I had “excess time” in my day), I used to make all of my envelopes by hand. I used my fun Kreate-A-Lope templates and my oversized magazines to make my own little artistic statement for sending everything from bills to letters, but then I got old and conservative. Or, more truthfully, I lost the time. I still have some of the old envelopes that I made, including my Tiffany collection (made of classic Tiffany diamond ads). But the templates are oh fun to use…and a whole collection of them is only $25 — individual templates are only $5 each!

So although I will not be partaking in the creation of any envelopes for my wedding projects, perhaps you’d like to? You could be looking to make envelopes using your engagement photos, or something else you can print or copy? Or maybe you have a great roll of wrapping paper that would be perfect for a small reply envelope? I guarantee you that the Kreate-A-Lope plastic templates make it easier than pie… just watch out for the envelope glue on thin paper… as it sometimes makes it curl.
They also make box and bag templates, of which I haven’t tried, but I’m sure they’re just as quick and easy to use, and just as practical for wedding DIY projects!
