Since it’s a holiday, I thought we’d do a reader buzz that was kinda fun and silly.
I asked Mr. Bee how much he loved me on a scale of 1-10, and he replied, “12.” I said, “12?! Why not higher?!” To which he replied, “12 is as high as I can go and still be credible, because if I go too high, then the 1-10 scale has no meaning.”
Ask your SO’s how much he loves you on a scale of 1-10, and tell us what he says.

I just asked him and he replied, “19 million.”
LOL! Jess and I have done this before, except he asked me the question instead of vice versa. Unsuspecting me answered 10 the first time, to his disappointment, because he wanted to hear “infinity.” I know what to say when he asks now, and what he’ll answer if I was to pose the question!

I asked why twice, and he said “because”. I asked a third time, and he said “not now”. He was in public. He asked me why I asked and I told him it was a post on this site, and he said he choose 10.5 because it’s the closest to 10 without cheating and I should know how he is about cheating. :oP

Well, I got eleven too. being a man obsessed with numbers (basketball coach) he couldn’t go over too much.
“9.9 because you gotta give something to work towards, love must blossom like a flower”
I laughed so hard when I heard this 
He said “10″ then asked “Is 10 the highest?” to which I replied “yea” and then he said “Well then 1.” LOL
He said “10″. When I let him read what Mr. Bee answered, he said he couldn’t answer a number above 10 b/c of the pre-defined limit I gave him.
Something about how any number above 10 would pretty much mean 0 or some mumbo-jumbo like that. Hehe
“Is this a “I screwed up” question, a “I got a lucky break” question or just a general “how much do I love you” question?”
after I said it was for a poll he said…
“I’ll say 9. I’ll give you a 10 next year.”
My and my SO play this game all the time, and his number changes every day. One day its 34 and the next it’ll be 8.
mine said 12. then i asked him why couldn’t it be higher, and then he said “because when it gets higher than 10, my love for you grows exponentially.”
and then to which i replied with a “huh? 12 is not so big.”
and then he replied: “for example, if it is 10.1, it will already be 10 times bigger than 10.”
lol. gotta love his creativity.
Mine said 9…then followed up with “nobody’s perfect”…thanks…=)

My husband said 10. But I think it’s cuz i made homemade lasagna and a chocolate cake on my day off… I NEVER cook like this on a normal weekday or weekend. I think it should have been higher considering i have been slaving away in the kitchen. But 10 is the highest.

me: haha, why 12?
him: because I saw in a movie that giving 110% is impossible. I’m giving you 120%

me: Just answer! 1-10!
him: This is ridiculous.
me: Just answer! Come on.
him: I refuse to quantify our love!

He looked at me confuse and said, “10″ and then continued to flip channels. Ahhh, men!
him: “Why??? 8.. Do I have to answer? I’m playing a game!”
me: You better be able to back it up.
him: 8.
me: Why 8?!?!!!!
him: I’m playing a game. Ask me later. Wait.. how much do YOU love me?
me: I asked you first!!!
him: Okay, ask me later.
Me: How much do you love me on a scale of 1-10?
Him: Why? It’s off the scale baby, off the scale!!
Me: Aww….wait, in what direction?
Me: How much do you love me on a scale of 1-10?
Him: 10!
Me: *pout*
Him: 10 of course! What’s better than 10!?
Me: : )
“17, because it’s a lot more than 10.” Not so creative, but he was walking out the door to work, and it was sweet nonetheless.
“I would have to say 10.”
“why?”
“because I haven’t loved anyone as much as I have you. Besides your brain, your wit, your sense of humor, your passion, your body, your eyes, and your smile you have a truly beautiful soul.”

10.5 I asked why and he said “I knew that was coming next!” LOL. I kept bugging to hear why and I said why not 11 or 12? And he said, fine, 12.5. I never got the “why part.”
Me: “How much do you love me on a scale of 1-10?”
Him (asleep ’cause it was early this morning): “A million! Wait…is this something for Weddingbee?”
Me: “Yup!”
Him (throws a pillow at me): “Leave me alone!”

him: because you said between 1 and 10! fine i take it back, i love you 1… times a million!

After I smiled, he said, “But cause of that spit bubble on your teeth, I knock it down to a 9.999999.”
Four. I got a stinkin’ freakin’ four.
But to be honest, I would have been worried if he had said something sweet…
i had to laugh at all the responses above. I just asked the hubby the same question.

him: 22
me: why 22?
him: mol-la (I don’t know).
me: babes, how much do you love me on a scale of 1-10?
hubby: (brushing teeth) 10!
me: why only 10? so not more than 10?
hubby: (smiles and sighs - clearly we play this game often) you didnt give me any more options higher than 10.
boys are so statistical sometimes
He said 12. I asked why 12 and he said “because I love you more than anything else…but let’s not be ridiculous with the number, here”
Then I told him what Mr. Bee said and he said “EXACTLY!!”
HAH!
