After reading Miss Hibiscus’ post on veils, I decided I better get off my ass (figuratively; literally translated into “pull the laptop over towards me on the sofa so I don’t have to stand up”) and order my veil already!The reason I kept not doing it was because I was conflicted about edging type and length. The edging was a bit complicated to choose to go well with my dress (sorry no more detail until after the wedding!), and I could not figure out what length I wanted just in general ~or~ in relation to my dress length. GAH. So after lots of extremely vague whining (”I don’t knowwww if I want this one or this one!!”) to Mr. Bluebell today, I finally sucked it up and picked one.

I ordered from http://www.weddingveil.com because of their huuuge selection (each with tons of pictures), cheap prices, and great reviews I’ve seen on various forums. I’m super excited but also nervous - you only have a 7 day window in which to return the veil for a refund, and I won’t have my dress to compare it against yet! I decided if I’m reeeally unsure about it, I can bug Kleinfeld’s to let me come in and hold it up against my dress sample, but I’m 90% sure I can make the decision by holding it up against photos.

Yikes! Cross your fingers for me!
