We’re planning a one year Weddingbee anniversary party for February 8th around 7:00 pm in NYC. (Wow on Feb 8th, it’ll already be a year since we launched! 8O) But we need your help! We need suggestions for venues to have the party - a laid back lounge or bar where it isn’t too loud or hectic, or perhaps a place with a private room/area would be ideal.
We’re also going to have some weddingbee t-shirts printed up, so we’d like suggestions on designs - where to put the Mrs. Bee icon and/or weddingbee logo, what size the images should be, etc. If we choose your design, we’ll send you a free shirt!
We really appreciate all your suggestions. All the New York bees will be at the party, so we hope you can make it. It’s going to be a lot of fun!

Stupid Los Angeles/Working thing. If it’s a t-shirt, I think it would be cool to be on the back! If it was a polo, on the breast (sorry), if it has a pocket, right above the pocket opening? You could put the weddingbee.com address on the back somewhere? I am so jealous.

Oooh picking off of Miss Kiwi’s idea - have the bee flying OUT of the pocket? Not sure exactly how you’d denote that, with little squiggly lines?
But yeah, so excited for the party!!!!

i think a tank or a regular short-sleeve tshirt would work nicely…
(a) Sporty via Short Sleeve Tee
mrs. bee icon on front left or right.
Weddingbee or weddingbee.com on the back like a sport shirt/jersey and have a “28″ as the number since that’s the launch date.
(b) S.S. Tee Idea #2
on a short-sleeve tee, put weddingbee.com on the back, near the nape of the neck, in the weddingbee font at the top of the site.

(c) SS Tee w/ Sleeve Imprint
a short.sleeve tee, with mrs. bee’s icon on the front left or right, and weddingbee.com underneath the icon…and then something printed on one of the sleeves, a “28″ perhaps?
i like tees that have something printed on the sleeve..
Color-
Color on White Shirts is okay..but can be pricey ..
How about…sky blue ink on brown shirts or pale pink ink on brown shirts?…or the reverse?
Gstaad in the 20s — where I had my engagement party. It’s great. They have a big open space and a smaller private room that you can reserve (no cost). The owners are nice to work with!

i like kp’s ideas. i would make a fitted tee and a loose tee since not all of us can wear those fitted tees. i’m so bummed about the party date. i will be in hawaii that entire week.

for the shirts- i like kp’s (b) idea. ^_^
i had a friends’ reception at stitch in the garment district (stitchnyc.com). they have a private area (with its own bar) upstairs which can accomodate 60 people on one side and 20 on the other. there are no room fees and nick was easy to work with.
