About Mrs. Lily

Wildflower Letterpress is hands-down my favorite vendor thus far. The quality of their work and their sincere dedication to helping you achieve the exact invitation of your dreams is incredible. I give them 5 billion stars. Maybe 5 trillion!

I contacted the owner, Samuel Wilder, quite late in the game. He quickly sent me samples of his work and I was very impressed. The letterpress itself is deep and clear, and he included a leather booklet full of many many paper options. Mr. Lily designed the invitations himself — Sam worked with him night after night to make sure all the specs were correct. When I wanted a particular color of envelope liner that doesn’t normally come pre-done for envelopes, he found color samples for me and hand-lined 200 envelopes. When I decided I wanted a very heavy card stock that wasn’t in his book, he searched all over heaven and earth to find what I wanted and to get me a good price. On that note, his prices are excellent. For a custom job with so many pieces (he is doing the outer and inner envelopes, invitation, thank you cards, rsvp cards, rsvp envelopes, and place cards) he kept everything within my budget.

Although he is based in Chicago and I am in New York, the distance has never been a problem. He is quick to call, e-mail, and fed-ex. Oh, and did I mention that I gave Sam the shortest deadline in the world? If you want to see Wildflower Press’s work, e-mail them because there aren’t many examples on their Web site. They are phenomenal!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don’t know what the pricing structure is… I contacted Wildflower press and asked for a quote. I gave them as much info up front as I could — I said, “In and ideal world I would like X number of invitations, outer envelopes (printed), inner env. (lined), rsvp cards, rsvp envelopes (printed), thank u cards/env., and place cards. I also want 2 colors for the invitation portion, and bleed to the edge. Then he came back with a quote. I don’t know if Mr. Lily designing the invitation himself knocked anything off the price either. I would just e-mail Sam — he is super nice!!!

A good friend of mine used Wildflower Press and said they were fantastic too. Her invites were gorgeous and at the time she thought what she paid was more than reasonable.

My daughter used Wildflower Press. Sam is the most thoughtful vendor we had. He was extremely helpful, reasonable and turned out a beautiful, quality invitation we were so proud of.
Highly, highly recommend!

Wildflower Letterpress rocks! Sam is awesome to work with. Price is reasonable, turnaround time is faster than most and the quality is top notch. I tried to write a detailed vendor review on here but unfortunately it won’t allow to post reviews until AFTER my wedding date. So until then, I will keep this short and sweet. To all brides that want beautiful letterpress invitations, Wildflower Letterpress is the way to go. Highly recommended!

I completely agree with the wonderful reviews of Wildflower Press. My wedding was in January of this year, and I started planning in October of 2010. Two of my friends had used Wildflower Letterpress in the past and recommended it. Sam totally came through on very short notice. The invitations were really elegant (custom design, custom graphic imprinting, three color, raised lettering) and you can tell Sam truly cares about his products. He is very fair on pricing and is very honest. I was very proud to send out my invitations and working with Sam was a pleasure. I highly recommend Wildflower Letterpress!
