Wedding-ify Your Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head

January 17th, 2007 @ 2:17 pm by Mrs. Lime

As an addendum to Mrs. Bee’s ring bearer/flower girl gift suggestion, you can buy bride and groom mickey ears for the Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head to wedding-ify your gift. A friend gave me the heads up after her last trip to Disneyland, on the special Mr. Potato Head accessories packs sold only at Disney parks. Luckily, in this day and age, you can find anything online via ebay (listing #270055633494 ) and other online retailers (try Laughing Place Store).

I even toyed with this idea for a cake topper (too big and heavy) or as a substitute for arrangements on the placecard, guestbook, or cake tables, but I think it might be a little too cutesy for Mr. Lime and me (he thought I was joking when I sent him links. I was. Well, half-joking at least). It wouldn’t be completely random since one of my longest-standing nicknames is of the underground tuber variety, and as I’ve noted before, we both love potatoes of all kinds, even plastic ones. But…we’re not huge Disney fans [ducking and donning flame-retardant suit at the same time]. Too bad they don’t have the accessories without the Mickey ears [again, half-joking]!
