As I was going through my old photos in search of blog inspiration, I came across our old engagement photos, so I thought I’d share my absolute favorite. This picture isn’t even that great because I scanned in a printed photo myself with a dirty scanner - my photographer shot in all film.

I love this photo because we look so happy and excuse my cheesiness, but “in love.”
Our photographer, Derek Wong, asked us if we could dance for photo inspiration, so we did - we waltzed all over the back road of Ko Olau Golf Course, ducking into the grass as cars would drive by. It was hot, humid, and there were mosquitoes - it was totally worth it.

Thank you so much. I don’t even know what to ask for help on right now. I’m just now starting the planning process - which means - bouncing around ideas in my head and flipping through the 50 copies of bridal magazines my friends gave me. I think my problem is my indecisive personality and our minimal budget. My fiance and I are paying for our own wedding and it seems like everything is just so expensive! If you have any referrals - that would be helpful. My must have is a great photographer - i’m willing to skimp out on other things for a great photographer!
