About Mrs. Strawberry

Miss Pearl was right. Martha outdid herself. The winter 2007 edition of Martha Stewart Weddings blows all past issues out of the water! These ring pillows? Adorable.

This bouquet? I must have it.

I even attempted this little project on my menu card. I got a tiny hole punch. I got some yarn. Mine…looks nothing like this. It ended up looking every “home made,” which is not the look I was going for.

This isn’t the first time I tried a Martha project. I attempted to make these program pockets too. I ordered the pockets from Paper Presentation and then gave up. It was just too much for my simple little mind to handle. Oh, Martha. How do you do it!?

martha doesn’t do it. she has assistants that do it and then she markets the projects with her name on it.

we need assistants.

Attention Martha Stewart Fans:

I was a lucky audience member on the Martha Stewart daytime show (the “weddings” episode) in Oct 2005. Everyone in the audience was a bride, and everyone took home $500 worth of goodies - Kitchen Aid stand mixer (pink for breast cancer awareness month), Tassimo coffee maker, $50 gift certificate to Michael C Fina, books, etc. Three brides also got designer gowns. It was a blast.

NYC-ers can easily sign up for free studio audience tickets on her website. Studio is in Chelsea. I’ve been checking and there isn’t another “wedding” show with goodies scheduled. : (

I love Martha. I wish I had all the time in the world to just make crafts.

I was at her show last year too. It was fun.
