My Trees Are In!

January 19th, 2007 @ 3:19 pm by Mrs. Plum

And they’re HUMONGOUS!! They’re almost as tall as I am - I’m 5′4ish and they reach my chin! I forgot how big they were when I placed my order. It was 60″ tall - and I was like “hmm 60″ that sounds good…” Clearly, I am going to need a Uhaul truck to carry the trees alone to the reception site. My aunt could only carry 6 of them in her huge conversion van - and I still have some more trees waiting at the distributor!

I’m not quite sure about the final concept for the incorporation of flowers into this yet, but I will use this picture as inspiration:

These look great. Where did you get them and how much are they? Are you considering selling them after the wedding? Do they light up or are they just crystals on the branches?

I’m going to use them on every other table as part of the centerpiece - i’m going to cover the stand in flower arrangements and put tealights into the nests.

I bought them from my wholesale distributor since I am an event designer, but they were still rather pricey! They are not for sale, but they are for rent :)

and they’re just crystals and opaque pearly beads on the smaller branches - nope they don’t light up :)

lol “us regular folk” you are too cute!

They card you when you go in and you have to fill out a freakin mountain of paperwork, show your licenses, tax id number., etc., but a less complicated way would be to just tell me what you want and i can look it up for you and purchase it for you lol - the trees i bought were around $175 each….. just email me if you want me to buy something for you!
