Mr. Bee and I are really dorky (ok maybe it’s just me who’s the dork), so we often play our version of The Newlywed Game. For instance we had breakfast together this morning, and I said, “Your favorite jam is marmalade. What’s mine?” I tell him he needs to know these things in case we ever play a Newlywed Game. 
(My favorite is raspberry jam with seeds and he didn’t know btw.)
So I thought that it’d be fun to create a weddingbee game on how well you know your fiance and vice versa. If you guys like it, we’ll turn it into a regular feature. It’ll be fun because maybe you and your SO will discover something about each other that you never knew.
These are some of the questions Mr. Bee and I talked about this morning. I wanted to do 10, but he said, “No guy is going to want to answer 10 questions.” Lol. So 5 it is.
1. What was your SO’s first pet?
2. What was your SO’s first job?
3. What was your SO’s first car?
4. Where did your SO go to high school?
5. What is your SO’s favorite flavor of jam?
How many of these can you get right? Let us know… then ask your fiance, and let us know how they did!

Great questions! He got 5/5 for me (but he didn’t want to answer the questions in the first place) and I got 4/5 for him (I honestly didn’t know he doesn’t like jam! :-P)
Can’t wait for round 2–is there any way to turn this into a contest?
I got 5/5 for Mr Bluebell but he only got 3 for me. He says #1 isn’t a fair question because he has only ever had one pet (before we got our kitten) and I grew up with zillions so he couldn’t keep track. And he is still (30 minutes later) sporadically trying to guess my favorite jam.
i thought about it being a contest but couldn’t come up with a twist for it. besides we’d have too many winners?
btw i got 3/5 for mr. bee. mr. bee got 1/5.

i started smiling to myself when i answered the very first question in my head.. because mr ant’s first pet was a turtle.. who ran away!! haha.. how does a pet turtle manage to run away?! so funny..
I like this feature! We got 5/5, but I think we cheated because I’ve known him since I was 9.

Mrs Bee–just an idea, but maybe just make it a “reply with your answers, and we’ll choose a winner at random” sort of thing? Just a thought
i think we might turn it into a regular feature every friday instead of a contest. i hope i do better next week answering trivia about mr. bee!
I know a lot of these right off (and vice versa) because I’m only 21 and I’ve been with my FI for almost 4 years now, so we MET in highschool, and I’m still driving my first car and working my first job. Haha. and as for jam, he SAYS he doesn’t like plum, and then I make him try it and he likes it fine. We need a few more years to finalize our jam/jelly preferences, I guess.
A cat named Charlie [it was a girl], McDonald’s [one day--LOL], a 1965 royal blue metallic Mustang [oh yes...], Jenks High and Griffin’s Strawberry Preserves in the skinny glass jar.
And yes, I got them all right.
He got all but two (but more like 1.5, my first car lasted 3-4 weeks, he got the next one) and I got all but one - didn’t remember his first car, although once he said no, I remembered it again. So not too bad here.
Mrs. Ant - my FI does a great impression of a turtle running away, I’m still laughing. . .
I am hysterically laughing at Mrs. Ant’s response because my boyfriend’s first pet was a turtle who didn’t run away, but…….would rather drown himself then be his pet!
I was so cocky, I thought I knew all of the answers, but I was surprised! It was good to learn some new things about each other.
