Here’s My Card

January 20th, 2007 @ 5:46 pm by Mrs. Bee

I loved the business cards that Mrs. Butterfly had made for her groomsmen. But I was thinking about it the other day, and thought they’d make great gifts for your flower girl or ring bearer too! Kids are always trying to be so grown up, so I think they’d love business cards signifying their “official wedding titles.”

A pretty wedding themed business card for a flowergirl:

And one for your ringbearer:

Right now Office Depot is offering 250 custom business cards (item #337-776-662) for 99 cents with coupon code 29440100. (via bargainist) You can also sign up for Vista Print’s email newsletter, which often has promotions for free business cards. They have a lot of different premade designs like the ones above to choose from.

These business cards costs almost nothing, and I bet your flower girl and ring bearer will absolutely love them!

We used a business card size (actually, it might have been an escort card, but no envelope) from Crane’s printed (thermograph) w/ our website info & password and tucked it in with the invitation. Came across very nice-looking!

I can just imagine my nephew macking it at the reception in his little tux. He’ll be 5 years old. . . “Hey, call me sometime . . . here’s my card” to all the bridesmaids LOL

I’m with Nancy - my first thought was “Uh oh, you never know who kids will give these to!” The last thing you need is creepy people having a child’s name and address. It would have been a cute idea, but the world is just too dangerous.

Solution?

Child’s First name

Title (flower girl, etc)

Address of the Reception Venue

Phone number of Reception Venue

If you wanted to do business cards you could make them yourself you could use Microsoft Publisher.
And make up a fun address like “22 Lego Lane, Legoworld”
And phone number “1-800-FLOWERS”

kp - that’s true! lol. now they make cards that cut clear without those perforations. It’d be a pretty easy project. Oh and yes I should have clarified - I didn’t intend on putting the real phone number and address - just that of the venue. :)
