Logo/Monogram Trouble

January 20th, 2007 @ 8:11 pm by Mrs. Raspberry

I hung all of these monograms, plus a couple of others on the door in our apartment. We have been looking at them for a couple of days, and still can’t seem to decide on which one we want to use.

I thought that we would use it on the programs, favors, menus, out-of-town baskets, maybe the invites… It is all up for debate.

My only concern with the long, skinny ones is that they will be hard to use on things, yet I like them so much better. And I really want to use gold, but since it will be coming out of a regular printer, I don’t want it to look brown - I tried it and it looked ok.

Please help and vote for your favorite:

Ooh, how did you make that? I really like the long gold one (for you, but also for me) :)

i think the long design ones are really elegant and nice. as for color, i voted for pink but the gold is also realllly nice. i guess it depends on your theme? whether u want a bit of color or timeless classic, which then i would vote for the gold.

although i prefer the square shape, i think you could use both. use the long when needed and square when that shape would look best. they are very similar in feeling so it would work.

Thank you for the advice! I really appreciate help with the decision making! It is so hard.. .there are so many decisions to make and I know this is just a little one, but I want everything printed to be beautiful!!

Miss Pearl, email me at sarah@hautepapier.com and we can discuss my making one for you :)

I like the long one the best too. Is there a way to ‘cut’ out the middle part of the long one to use when you need something smaller? that might be a way around using the long one and adjusting it when space is an issue.
