Honeymoon Part I: Los Angeles, CA

So we arrived in Tahiti at 4:30am and it was dark out. This woman was passing out little flowers to put behind your ears, and we were greeted with music that told me that I was going to love this place and never want to leave.

Our flight to Bora Bora wasn’t supposed to take off ’til 7am, so we had to find something to do which to me meant PICTURE TIME! Note: Don’t bother buying a lei here if you’re waiting to take off, which is what we did. Before you board your next flight, you have to throw the flowers away. Weird huh. Don’t fret, they’ll give you another one after you land at the next island.

It’s 7!!! Time to board the plane and we’re off! To the batmobile Batman!

I see it! I see it! I’m so excited I could pee in my panty! I SHO EXSHITEING! You can see the landing strip in the 2nd photo. So we land and now we all wait for our boat to come and take us to the main land.

After we get off the boat, we have to wait for our hotel car to pick us up to take us to Novotel.

After we checked in we went to get some lunch at:

Cheeseburgers were $15!

Afterwards we walked to this little grocery store to buy dinner cause we are definitely not buying another $15 cheeseburger. We bought sandwiches, chips and drinks to just keep in our fridge back in our room. This store was actually very convenient for us and less than a minute walk away.

After that we decided to head to the beach at our hotel to lay out and do a little snorkeling.

Later in the day it started to rain - just passing showers though, which is expected around this time of year. I noticed that people still snorkeled in the rain. Good for you! Not for me.

Afterwards we headed back to the room to wash up and I decided to take a quick nap before dinner time. It was 6 pm people.
