Pomanders

January 22nd, 2007 @ 10:31 am by Mrs. Plum

One day, when I was bored, I decided to make a flower girl pomander for fun - just to test out using silk flowers instead of fresh ones to save time (and money!).

This was mainly to see how it would look. I’m pretty pleased with the result, but will change the ribbon color/fabric and add crystal embellishments/jewels around the pomander.

For fun, I hung it up on one of my centerpiece trees to see what it would look like - I don’t know how I feel about it yet - but if I end up using this idea, I will make several to hang all around the tree. The ribbon, of course, will be much shorter.

Beautiful job, Miss Plum!! I’m making some very similar to that to hang on the pews at my church, except that I used artificial hydrangeas and tulle. I think yours turned out very well!! :)

Hi,
I was looking for a tree centerpiece just like the one in your photo. Could you tell me where to buy it? Thanks!
