Nov 26 / Sunday
I went to sleep at 6pm on Saturday and woke up at 6am the next morning (hahaha), but BOY DID I FEEL GOOD! So it was a 12 hour power nap. Shut up and stop laughing at me. I was tired man! But in the morning I was so psyched to head out because the hubs booked a land tour. Bora Bora, show me what you got biotch!
That morning the water looked this blue:

We had breakfast at the hotel (included in our package), and then at 8:30 our safari tour guide came to pick us up. He was pretty funny and I LOVE funny tour guides.

At one point he pulled the car over, got out, went around the car, and started picking like 15 leaves off a tree. We’re all thinkin “Um, wtf is he doing?” He gets back in the car, turns around while holding the leaves up and goes “Toilet paper.” OH HELLZ NO! HELLZ NO!
We then drive like half a mile down the road, he pulls over, and then throws the leaves on to the ground. We look out and see these little crabs coming out of these holes, grabbing the leaves, and then dragging them back in. After watching them for a bit I said “HEY! You just wasted our toilet paper man!” I got a few chuckles. Score!

This is a pretty bumpy tour. If you’re pregnant, they don’t recommend it. Jay kept saying “You can be afraid but don’t scream.” Before we started going down this one hill he goes “Remember, you can be afraid but don’t scream. HAKUNA MATATA!!!” I started cracking up like a dork. I swear to God I thought the jeep was going to turn over a few times though. This is how bumpy things can get:
Beautiful. (4 photos that I stitched into 1) Click for larger version.
It’s not just beautiful but it’s EFFIN BEAUTIFUL. We were all in such awe. It seriously took our breath away.

Afterwards Jay took us to a souvenir shop to shop around. The Tahitians are HUGE on sarongs. They can show you a bajillion different ways that a woman/man could wear one. I’m not kidding. These people are serious about their sarongs.

Oh and the ever so popular:

Afterwards Jay took us up to one of the hills

Black Pearl Farm

Then it was back to the hotel to do some swimming and snorkeling.

I love these 2 photos. It makes me laugh like a hyena. So we’re swimming, well I’m “fake” swimming, and I set the camera to timer, and then I started yelling “THROW ME, THROW ME, THROW ME!”

For dinner we ate at the hotel.
