Last weekend, in a fit of wedding-frenzy, Mr. Kiwi and I took a big step: we booked our minimoon. Through www.overstock.com, we managed to book two non-stop round trip flights and two nights in a deluxe room at The Luxor at under $500.00.

This is so exciting for me, since this is the first wedding thing we’ve done together, not counting things regarding booking our reception venue. Mr. Kiwi seems especially excited about this because he really needs a break, and in booking this, he is basically saying, “I am getting a break.” So I am very glad we’ve got this set - it’s almost like the wedding is actually going to happen.

With my dress bought, our venue picked, the photographer chosen (more on that later), the big things we need to take care of are the florist and DJ! One trip is down, and now we just need to get to booking the plane flights for our honeymoon to Costa Rica! By the way, many thanks to Mrs. Bee for the various Costa Rica posts!
