It’s official–we have our officiant! 
Yesterday Mr. Blueberry mailed off the deposit check to a *very* nice pastor who we met with back in November. He’s just what we were looking for–someone who is respectful and traditional, but accommodating of our myriad of requests. 
Now we really can get married.
Also, we’re paying the extra money to have him coordinate the rehearsal. It’s $150 more, which is admittedly a lot to us, but we ultimately thought it would be worthwhile for our (mostly my) peace of mind. So that’s one less thing to worry about!
My dad is a minister. 
He’s walking me down the aisle and being the officiant.
I picked “other.” We’re getting married by my FH’s childhood priest who’s also a friend of his family’s. Fr. Jeff has a parish about 20 miles from my FH’s hometown, nearby the resort town where we’re having our reception.
Our officiant is the minister at our place of worship.
