Being only five feet tall, it’s hard to find pants that fit. What fits in the (slightly tubby) waist doesn’t fit length-wise. The same goes for shirts. While I am a D cup, I have small shoulders so I often wear shirts that are too large in the shoulder and too tight in the chest. My chest size alone makes it near impossible to find a strapless bra that works.
Thanks to porn stars and strippers, the D cup is growing more popular every day, especially here in Los Angeles. Despite that, those women must have boobs that defy gravity, because I couldn’t find one good strapless bra that didn’t pinch, flip, or sag. Tired of trying on strapless bras only to find myself somehow flipping out of the cups, I decided to search at the one place I knew would have a good large-breasted bra: Fredrick’s of Hollywood.
When I was younger, I always associated Fredrick’s with the “trashy” type of delicates. Yes, while it’s not exactly something your grandma would wear, it’s definitely a step up from prostitute wear. In fact, I mostly shop for my bras there, since it seems like they have a wider selection in my size and especially since I’d have to pay extra for larger sizes at Victoria’s Secret.
Now, I found a bra I’d like to share with the larger-busted ladies of the ‘Bee. It’s called the Full-Figure Strapless Smooth Bra, and it’s available at Fredrick’s. It comes in sizes 32D to 42F, and this baby is AWESOME.

The bra comes in pearl white, nude and black, and while the nude is a little darker than I am, I love the color. The back elastic is actually TWO bands of elastic for each side, very similar to the tummy control panels in those waist cinchers. I can honestly say I’ve never had a bra fit me so well, and a strapless one, no less. The two elastic bands ensure that the bra will never flip your boobs out, or slide down your chest. Sometimes bras have the thin layer of rubber inside, to keep the bra from slipping. I find that rubber to be kind of painful, and I’m glad this bra doesn’t have it. It has a wide panel on the back, and seamless, molded cups.
It’s fabulous, and if you’re large-breasted like me, you may love it, too! The bra is available for $28.00. You won’t have to tug your strapless bra up any longer!
