Edit: The dress on the left is in the Berry colored Tiffany Belsoie chiffon versus regular chiffon. I always thought it was just my monitor playing tricks on me!

I finally hit the send button for those freakin’ bridesmaids dresses, Jasmine B2 B3308, that have been driving me nuts. Netbride has had my order on hold until I made my final decision. It’s a good thing I made a trip over to the bridal boutique to check out the fabric and colors (again), because my idea of having the berry colored chiffon over the cranberry colored underlining did not work as well as I imagined it would. When I held up the 2 fabrics together, the chiffon was too dense and did not allow the darker cranberry to show through, which I thought would mute the brightness of the berry.
But then I saw another Belsoie dress which had the perfect shade of deep red irridescent chiffon! Strangely enough it was also called “Berry,” but was unlike any of the Berry swatches I had seen. Since Belsoie is also a Jasmine brand, I figured that my dresses could be made in that same fabric and color as well.
I asked the lady at the store what the fabric was, and she said “crepe” which didn’t seem right because I thought crepe was a heavier, stiffer fabric. But I figured she knew what she was talking about. So long story short, I went back and forth with Netbride finding out prices of changing the fabric to crepe, etc., while in my head still thinking that crepe sounded wrong.
I researched some more online, called the Jasmine office, called the bridal shop again, and finally figured out that the fabric I like is indeed not crepe, but is actually the Belsoie Tiffany Chiffon. I had no idea Jasmine had so many different types of fabrics, (regular chiffon, irridescent chiffon, Belsoie Tiffany Chiffon to name a few). It cost an extra $22 per dress to upgrade the fabric, which I decided that I will cover for my bridesmaids, since it is my nitpickiness that could not settle for the basic chiffon.
Anyways, I have to say that Laura at Netbride was infinitely patient, going back and forth with the Jasmine office on my behalf to figure out price differences. I must have emailed her up to 5 or 6 times with different questions on fabric, colors and pricing, and probably drove her nuts. She must have been so relieved when I finally gave her the A-OK to place my order! YAY!
